Complicating Kari is an eight-minute video for and about my dear friend and lover of clay, Kari Marboe, who passed away in 2022. The title references her 2018 exhibition, Duplicating Daniel, which was first exhibited at A-B Projects and subsequently evolved into a larger exhibition at the Mills College Art Museum.
